Conveniently located in a residential area, close to many primary schools and opposite the Beaumont Hills Village our Centre is open 51 weeks of the year providing nursery, toddler and preschool care and education to children aged between 3 years to 6 years.

The Centre has ample parking on the grounds assisting parents/guardians complete drop off and pick up safely.

Kayla is a seasoned professional in the childcare industry with an impressive 15-year journey dedicated to creating a positive impact on the lives of children.

As the proud Centre Manager of Beaumont Hills, Kayla brings a wealth of experience, unwavering dedication, and a genuine passion for nurturing the growth and wellbeing of every child.

With a genuine passion for children and a commitment to high quality education and learning, Kayla found her calling in the childcare field. As an Early Childhood Teacher, her journey began with a simple yet profound desire to contribute to the holistic development of children, a passion that has only strengthened over the years.

At the heart of Kayla’s approach is a collaborative spirit, as she thrives on working with a dedicated team to create a nurturing and enriching environment for each child. Her commitment extends beyond mere duty – it is fuelled by an authentic love for supporting the unique growth and wellbeing of all children.

One of Kayla’s key strengths lies in her ability to foster strong partnerships between parents and educators. Recognising the vital role parents play in a child’s development, she is deeply committed to open and transparent communication. She believes in creating avenues for parents’ involvement, ensuring they are active participants in their child’s journey.

Outdoor Learning

Boasting two large rooms our preschool centre is filled with natural light and learning resources that will excite and stimulate your child’s learning. Equipped with engaging learning stations such as home corner, role playing, loose play, creation station, reading corners and dedicated art and craft areas, children learn in a fun and interactive environment.

We have a purpose-built School Readiness Room that delivers stimulating and engaging curriculum, harnessing each child’s unique interests, abilities, and skills. We partner with local primary schools to ensure our learning program prepares children socially and emotionally for kindergarten. We enable our bright enquiring minds to grow and develop and take their first steps toward their future educational journey.

School Readiness

Being ready for school is more than just being able to read and write! At First Steps Learning Academy, we offer an extensive School Readiness Program, based on the Early Years Learning Framework that is focused on preparing children for the transition into primary school.
