Early childhood is a significant period in a child’s life when the greatest physical, social and emotional growth occurs. It is a time when children engage in experiences that can influence their lifelong attitudes to learning and social interactions.

First Steps Learning Academy partners with Kids Gourmet Food (KGF) Australia to provide your children with healthy, wholesome and nutritional meals and snacks that they will love.
KGF believe that “the early years in a child’s life are instrumental in developing positive, long-term eating habits. Exposing young children to a healthy, diverse diet not only gives them the best start in life, it helps secure their future health, development and wellbeing as they grow up.”
KGF use high-quality, fresh ingredients to ensure that children are exposed to many different flavours and textures and learn to love all kinds of food from a young age. Parents will have peace of mind knowing that all food intolerances are catered for and all meals are nut and egg free. Our menu allows also us the flexibility to provide vegetarian and culturally inclusion meals.
The 6 week rotational menu contains food from the 5 Food groups recommended by the Australian Dietary Guidelines.
First Steps Learning Academy utilises the online network of Storypark to create, capture and share information about your child’s experience at school.
Storypark provides parents deeper insights into their child’s unique interests, needs and abilities and allows parents to be actively engaged in their child’s learning outcomes.
At a Centre level, Storypark provides increased communication between Educators and families and allows families to actively involve grandparents or distant family in their child’s learning.
First Steps Learning Academy acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, on which we live and learn each day and help guide the young leaders of tomorrow. We recognise the Traditional Owners’ continuing connection to lands, waters and communities.
